Hitchbrook

Sharon, CT  / 1,725 sq.ft.  /  Residential /  2021 / Complete

Originally built in 1800, Hitchbrook is the quintessential New England home. Nestled in the rolling hills of Litchfield County, it is truly a bucolic retreat.
In need of an interior facelift, our design concept was simple - bring the four seasons of the surrounding area into the home.
Spring, Summer, Winter & Fall each have their own dedicated space in the common areas.
From the custom colored windows to the hand inscribed floor boards, we were excited to add the home’s long history.
The house is named after a combination of nearby Hitchcock Corners and Mill Brook, each of which pass by just a few hundred feet away.
A more fitting name would be ‘The Four Seasons’ but that is apparently taken...
